Domestic Assault 

(Innisfil,ON)  On Monday, January 08, 2018, around 10:30 p.m., a woman came into the North Division in Innisfil and reported a domestic assault.  She told investigators that this wasn't the first time this has happened. 

A 29 year old Innisfil man was arrested at his home and charged with Domestic Assault.  He was released on conditions to stay away from the victim.  He will appear in court later this month. 

The victim did not require medical attention. 

Domestic Assault is a serious crime.  If you or anyone you know is in an abusive relationship, call police immediately.  Officers are available 24/7 a week for advice and information.  We also have experienced victim services volunteers to help.  You are not alone.   

 

Theft of Construction Equipment 

(Innisfil, ON)  On Monday, January 08, 2018, around  3:00 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to a construction site near Killarney Beach Road and the 20th Sideroad in the Town of Innisfil about a theft that had occurred.  The Supervisor realized very quickly that 6 fuel injectors and the EMC unit were missing from the CAT 330 excavator.   

The estimated value of these parts combined is $10,000.00.
